Merapi has been announced in alpha form, and I'm pretty interested to see where it goes. Being able to write Java apps on and have them accessible from AIR on the desktop opens up some really interesting opportunities.

I've signed up for the alpha, so hopefully the team will approve me and I will get to play with it soon.
